About
As a Miami native and first generation Cuban American, family plays a critical role for Isa, shaping her identity. At an early age, Isa demonstrated an inherent need to help others. Whether it was a family member who required assistance completing chores, or a peer student struggling with a disability, Isa was the first to volunteer. It was no surprise that Isa would go on to receive training as an educator and specifically, worked with special needs children. Her passion for helping others became her vocation.
After college, Isa co-owned and managed a tutoring center and educational summer camp. Through this experience, Isa witnessed firsthand the needs of children, the importance of family unity, and the support systems necessary for children and families to succeed. Isa discovered that a child’s education is just as important as the social and financial health of his/her family unit.
FND shares her passion, and provides the tools and resources necessary for realizing her goals, of advocating for children and families. Isa’s patience and compassion shine through in both her personal life and professional career.
